The Centre for Language and Brain was established at HSE University–St Petersburg in 2024. The Centre’s research is focused on issues pertaining to the acquisition, production, and comprehension of speech among people representing different population groups, including vulnerable groups and at-risk populations (e.g., children and the elderly). The Centre’s team is engaged in devising applied solutions to help compensate for linguistic deficits in reading, as well as developing diagnostic and correctional tools for other speech disorders.
